Question Set up a Hyperlink in a DWG to work with a double-click

I use Auto Cad 2000i and when using hyperlinks I have to hover over the link and right press and then click on open hyperlink to operate. Can I set up an hyperlink to work with a double click on the link as a web page link works?

You can hold the Ctrl key and single left click on the object to open the link.

Web pages don't use double click, they use single click. You can't change the default behavior, but hyperlinks in dwg's and dwf's follow the standard when viewed in a browser. Its just in acad that you have to use an extra key. That's so it doesn't conflict with normal editing, i.e. object selection.
