Hello all,
I am having a bit of a problem uninstalling civil 3d 2006 from one of my machines. I am using the add/remove programs utility. It gets about half way through the uninstall, then reverses (the little status indicators start running backwards). It spits out some warning along the lines of "all files could not be restored", and of course the ubiquitous "fatal error" warning. I have tried repairing with the install disks, repairing registry, and even a full reinstall. It will not let me do any of these things, and gives me the same set of warnings every time. I finally gave up and removed everything manually. But when I pull up the add/remove prog utility, civil 3d 06 is still listed, and I get the same set of warnings again when I try to uninstall the remnants. So, the bottom line is that I can't install, repair, or uninstall. Before I reformat the entire machine just to get rid of this old version, does anyone have any insight as to a diagnosis/fix? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
Bill
