Reminds me of a story on Ralph Grabowski's upFront eZine about the early days of Cadkey. An asian teacher offered to translate the tech manuals in exchange for a copy of the student version of Cadkey. Awhile later the individual who sent the program got a package in the mail with the tech manual translated and a message saying thanks Cadkey was the most used CAD software at the college. Remember when dealing with someone over seas you do not have the protection of the american courts but are liable to them for any damage your action may cause clients, not to mention a possible loss of work.
