Gamma materials and colours options available in Max but not Viz

Hi,

There are a couple of check boxes in the gamma preferences tab of Max that do not appear to be in the gamma tab for Viz. They relate to materials and colours.

Does anyone know if it is possible to acheive these results without the check boxes in Viz?

Trevor,

The first place i would look would be in the maxscript reference. You might be able to activate it that way if its available. If its not on in the interface....it usually means they turned it off on purpose or got rid of the option or it was never available for VIZ.

Are you using linear workflow? Why do you need to adjust your gamma?

Hi,

I need to adjust the gamma because I want to use linea workflow. All the instructions I've received so far have related to Max, and those checkboxes are not available in Viz. What I'd really like is some instructions for linear workflow specifically with Viz, Vray and LCD monitors.
