Default Can I make lines in block plot thicker?

We use 2005. Our client titleblock is inserted into our template in model space. (yes, I know, but not my call) The poly lines in question are green and neither changing the properties on the block nor changing the ctb has any effect. Is the only solution to thicken up the polylines on the client's titleblock. I am remiss to touch it since it is not our drawing.

Can anyone think of a less intrusive way to get the titleblock lines plotting thicker?

Do the lines have the lineweight set per object?

No, I opened the titleblock and checked each nested block down to the plines which are .7 (mm) It is all bylayer. So I changed the layer from default lineweight to 1.58 (mm) which should make a huge difference. NADA Is this because it is in model space?

What about, in your CTB, setting a lineweight to a very heavy weight, and then, in the block, changing those lines to that color?

I'm sure that would do the trick, I just did not want to mess with the client's titleblock. I was looking for a solution that I could deploy from either our template or ctb so that the client's drawing could remain intact.

Aah, we had better things to do this time last year, eh? Measure toes and drink Bulgarian firewater? I sure miss Sid too.

Yea, I know... I'm still bummed about not being there.. oh well..

Honestly, I can't think of a way to do that, without changing the block. If the clients title block, or your drawing used colors there were independent of each other, you could then adjust your CTB that way, but, well, I know that's just not gonna happen.

I guess you are plotting by color. Can you change the color of the objects in the titleblock to a similar color that plots how you want it?

Yes I could but.... I guess I will have to contact the owner of the titleblock to discuss our options. Thanks to all who took the time to write.

And I keep saying I don't want to change the client's titleblock. Some of them frown on that kind of thing, especially when the drawing goes back to them after the project is over.

I appreciate both of you for the time you took to help, even though you confirmed that the change must occur in a drawing that is out of my control.
