Express Tools command Lman does not bring up dialog box

ok this is frustrating....i am having a problem with this command. lman doesn't bring up the dialouge box. It does the command but not the box. it is very hard to do it with the command line. how do i bring it back. i tried expressmenu and that didn't work.

check your filedia and cmddia system variables, they should be set to 1
