Red face can't insert customized annotation in the template

    hi.

i am creating a customized annotation symbol that i can incorporate into the the revit template (*.rte) im creating.

the problem is, after creating the annotation symbol using the same process as creating any family, i can't insert it in the template im creating.
why is that??what is the right way to insert this annotation symbol to my newly created template??
    pls. advise. thanks

It is really simple. Open your template and import your annotation family. When saving your project save it under the same directory as your template file. Rename the file from an .RVT to .RTE with your template files name. Done.
