I agree here. It's important that only the DB guru in the office have access to make changes to the blocks. If people wanna play around and make changes to the blocks in their drawings, it's only their work that's gonna suffer. And I've told my co-workers quite clearly - DO NOT MODIFY MY BLOCKS unless you wanna create HOURS of extra work for yourself. Some of them still do, but they only play with layers and linetypes. It's still irritating, but I prefer this way as opposed to them opening the master DB files and completely wrecking them.
