Post Looking for existing AutoCAD scripts, stuff people are willing to share

Hey all. Just got a little taste of "script" writing. I was just looking for a place to look at lists upon lists of scripts already created. If anyone knows let me know. Thanks.

I've never heard of such a repository. There's plenty of code around for lisp and vba. Scripts tend to be short, single-use files. For long-term projects, pick one of the developmet languages. The other major use, is for batch processing, usally with ScriptPro. Those scripts are usually unique, like for cleaning up drawings from others.

One tool for generating scripts is available in acadinfo.lsp. There is a function called VAR2SCR that writes all your current variable settings to a script so that you can reset your vars just by running the script.
