Is there an obvious fix for function keys that aren't responding? If so I need a step by step walk through? This machine is used for both Autocad and 3dsmax. 3dsmax is when it seems to be most notorius!

Does it not work with both programs or just 3D Studio Max?

Well actually it currently is not working for 3dsmax 8, but if incase this should happen in acad 2006 I am just curious as to wether they should have been initially configured a certain way. I have a lab setting, but I did not set it all up.

Have you checked in the help system under User Interface Problems and Recovery?
