Regarding revit structures: CENTRAL FILE WORKING

Hi all,

This is Rushi. I am a new learner of revit structures and during my initial trainning time i have made a blonder.

as all of you must be aware with the function of WORK SETS - CENTRAL FILE - LOCAL FILES.

by mistake, I have deleted the central file.

now its a question for me and my team that how to make another file as central file.
or what should we do in such situation.

I didnt know where i should post my this question so if anyone knowing this solution or right place to post my question please reply me on

Rushi, find your latest local file (check to see which user saved last). This will be your most up to date file so you won't use a lot of work. Open the file (use the username of the person that this local file belongs to) and go to File, Save As, click on the Options button and check the Make this the Central location after save option. Name the file as required and you're done. Now create new locals for everyone and you're back in business.
