Some of you have noted that Revit gets bogged down over time. I suspect this is because Revit is managing its own temp file - a file called "revittemp" which you can see in your Windows temp folder. I imagine that this file contains undo/redo information for the current session. As the session continues, this file continues to grow, and if you close all your files, Revit doesn't reduce the file. However, when you exit out of Revit altogether, the file is deleted.
The next time you start Revit you get a new "revittemp" file, and on you go.
