Here are all the methods that I know of for MAXIMIZING and MINIMIZING Viewports
MAXIMIZING
- Place cursor within Viewport boundary (ie. Double-click inside viewport area, or enter the command MSpace), and click the Maximizing Viewport button on the Status Bar.
- Place cursor within Viewport boundary (ie. Double-click inside viewport area, or enter the command MSpace), right-click, and select “Maximize Viewport”.
- Click once on the Viewport boundary, right-click, and select “Maximize Viewport”
- Enter the command VPMAX, and select the Viewport boundary.
- Simply Double-click on the Viewport boundary itself (probably the easiest method)
MINIMIZING
- While in VP Max mode, click the Minimizing Viewport button on the Status Bar (probably the easiest method).
- While in VP Max mode, double-click on the red dashed borderline.
- While in VP Max mode, right-click and select “Minimize Viewport”
- While in VP Max mode, enter the command VPMIN.
Yeah, I stumbled on that one, too, and I keep stumbling. I draft 100 miles per hour and get sucked into model space while moving my viewports around. Do you know how to turn that feature off?
