Unhappy Check Standards Property: Implementation (not fixable)

We've been having a CAD Standards Check Standards problem running on ACAD 2007 that I can't figure out. When checking the drawing for standards compliance the Check Standards dialog box displays a linetype "Properties are non-standards" problem. In the Preview of Changes box, the property is displayed as "Implementation (not fixable)". The Current Value is "Non-standard" and the Standard Value is "standard". See the attached screen shot.

I can't figure out what's causing this error as the linetypes are correct.

    You're help is greatly appricated.

    Hi "sanderson.59642"

Please note I have *moved* this thread from the CAD Standards forum to this one, as I feel this particular forum is a more appropriate place for such a topic.

    Thanks, Mike

Question Re: Check Standards Property: Implementation (not fixable)

    Hi

With reference to the screen capture attached to your above post.

I am a little confused ( not difficult I know ), as how can the following make sense...

Problem: Linetype "FENCELINE" Properties are non-standard

    Replace with: Linetype "FENCELINE"

If the problem Linetype is "FENCELINE" how can the answer / solution be Linetype "FENCELINE" ?

    Have a good one, Mike

Is it possible that someone has imported a linetype with the same name but different properties? Try importing the Fenceline linetype from you standard LIN file and run the checker again.

If this does not fix it maybe the linetype definition in you standards template (DWS) is wrong. Try importing the linetype in to your DWS and see if that fixes it.

Red face Re: Check Standards Property: Implementation (not fixable)

Thanks for your help. I purged the linetype and re-imported into the .dws and the template file. I also used the standard name for the linetype (fenceline2) instead of renaming it. That fixed one of the problems.

The problem is still there for a custom linetype using shapes. The linetype references custom .shx files not the standard lintypes.shx file. The problem seems to be somewhere with that, because if I change the .shx reference, the standard check goes away for that linetype.

    Hum....
