I used to teach a popular ATP class on CAD Standards a few years ago. I stopped teaching it because I feared it was becoming dated.

I've been meaning to put the lessons and examples up on the Exchange for anyone that needs them. I'll try to find them on a backup CD and do that. I'll post here when I do. They were originally written for either R13 or R14 and updated somewhat for R2000.

Here are some items I will be adding. I'm sure there are more things, but, I am drawing a blank:
(I know the last one has nothing to do with the new version, I'm just sick of all of the pipe labelling being on a single layer argh!)

All submittal sets containing more than 5 sheets shall have a title sheet with an accurate drawing index containing the sheet name and a description.

Layer Descriptions [either within the layer dialog box (with 2005), or in an attached txt file (for previous versions)]

Text labeling piping (eg. ----- HHWS -----) shall be on the SAME layer as the pipe which it is labelling, or sharing the name of the piping layer appended with the proper suffix (eg. MHOPIS or MHOPISTE).
