Question AutoCAD 2002 - Function / Tool that edits AutoCAD command quick keys

    Ref. A-CAD 2002
There is a function (aliasedit), in Auto-CAD that allows the user to adjust the designation of a tool's function's enabling. otherwise known as 'Hotkeys' ie 'c' = 'circle' or 'copy' etc.
Does anyone know what support file or cookie that is associated with this function.
It is missing from my program and I would like to reinstall or reattach it to the program, and did I mention I need to know how to do so?
    Anyone?

Try looking for the acad.pgp file, this is typically what controls your command aliases. If it's gone then a repair of the program should replace it for you.

A workaround is to find the file "acad.pgp" and edit it in notepad.

    In A2002 the usual location is c:\Program files\AutoCAD 2002\Support.

Actually, "aliasedit" is an Express Tool. Are your other ETs working okay?

At the command prompt, enter (findfile "acad.pgp")

AutoCAD will search the support path for it. If it does not find it, it wil return nil.
