Happy new year to all
When printing your drawing set to PDF by checking your sheets views, is there an automated way to name the PDF files?
i am currently naming the files sheet by sheet when prompted by Revit.
Please advise
Thanks - Mo

I think that Revit has a problem when printing pdf's that you have to manually name every sheet. If I remember correctly, I think someone said that temporarily, you can print to dwf your full set, then print to pdf and you will be able to get all files into one pdf without all the hassle.
Some small voice telling me also you maybe able to select print to dwf, select your sheets, and right before you print select the pdf and it might go.
Search here and RevitCity, there's been a ton of pdf questions.
The only way I know of how to properly "batch plot" to pdf is through the Revit PDF Writer 4.2
If you do a search you will see a few posts that include the exe file to run...you would most likely need to rename the file extension after you download it, since exe is not a file you can upload....I have uploaded one that is xex, which after you download it, you need to rename it...
You know what, I know what to look for, I will look for it and post it after this post....
Happy New Year

I remembered slightly wrong...the name is pdfwriter.zip, but it isn't a zip file...just rename it to be pdfwriter.exe
