I've lost most of the hatch patterns within the detailer. Everything comes in as ANSI31. patterns such as brick in elevation works, but the vast majority does not.

A simple fix would be to put your install CD in and run a repair on ADT. But you will lose any custom settings you have and it might be an idea to back up your CUI.Originally Posted by ssmith.62044
Check to make sure that you are pathing correctly in your profile. If you have multiple Acad/ADT products these can get a little messed up from time to time. Is it all detail components or just some? There may be something wrong with-in the Material types as well. Just some thoughts.
It was all components. I figured a pathing issue, but couldn't find what was pathed wrong. I gave up and reinstalled.
thanks
On another thought, (if you ever end up in the same spot again and you're running ADT 2006 or later) you can export your CUI out to a network, save it, then import it after you re-install. This way anything custom you've done should be saved.

I can not imagine why changes to the Detail Component Manager would be stored in the CUI. They would either be stored in the DCM database or else would be custom additional files, depending upon the nature of the component. (For example, extra widths of insulation would be in the database; extra wood trim shapes would be extra drawing files (for the jigs) and extra references to them in the database.
Just to add a little refresher from the above posts; the mention of the Exporting the CUI was based on having to re-install. If you don't export out your CUI file, any custom command you created, or tool bars & tool pallets would be lost.
The DCM and the CUI are NOT related.
Sorry for the confusion.
