I'm having a problem saving Inventor files into .igs files. After I save the file, it gets saved as a .xlo file. Would anyone know what I'm doing wrong? Thanks.

What version of Inventor? Is the Inventor file a solid? Can you post the Inventor file here?
What does the xlo file say if you open it with Notepad?
If, when Save Copy As, IGES you click on the Options button and then the down arrow next to Output Solids As Solids, Surfaces, Wireframe - what happens if you select each of these?
