Does anyone know if there is a way to create a field with a sum of values that has commas in it (designating thousands)? When I try to sum a group of values with commas, the field treats the commas as decimals.

format -> table style
in the options for table style you can change data formatting (see attachment)
My version does not have the "Format:Whole Number..." line. I am running plain Autocad 2006. Any other suggestions.
do you have the box next to that option? that is what you click to set the format.Originally Posted by dillarm
No. I don't have any of that line, including the ellipsis box.
i wonder if some standard tools have 'ADT extras' compared to regular cad...Originally Posted by dillarm

can you post a screen shot of the options you do have? we dont have non-ADT here, but i will try and load up cad without ADT functions in a little bit and try it that way.Originally Posted by dillarm
This is what I have.
i should learn to pay attention to subject lines before opening my big mouth. the screen i posted was 2007 - which has the option to change table cell formatting. i dug around in 2006 - ADT and vanilla and couldnt find anyway to make that change.
Thanks anyway.
