AutoCAD 2007 Pan not working via IntelliMouse middle button

I have been through most of the posts on this topic and cannot get any of the suggestions to work. I have my mbuttonpan set to one and the middle button set to autoscroll. The pan works one out of every 15 times I hit the middle button. I can't live without this feature. By the way I am using WinXP Pro and a Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 6000 with AutoCAD 2007. Try Universal Scroll. I here different reports as to which one should be used.


Second option is to set an "application" setting for AutoCAD and place the clicking of the wheel to "middle button".

Or, if that doesn't work, try setting it to "Middle Click", if the driver allows.

I can't find a Universal Scroll and the middle click option does not work.

hummm... if middle click didn't do it.... I'm thinking bum mouse.

How about mapping the right button to "middle click" for testing.

With the right mouse button mapped to be the middle click it does not pan but, it appears to have some effect because my screen flashes when I right click.

My next step would be to make sure my mouse drivers and video drivers are up to date.

I am running no aftermarket utilities. The last thing I remember before it quit working was using my old wired intellimouse explorer 3.0.
