Default NavisWorks Crash detection and AutoCAD 2007 3D Solids not getting along

We are having an issue with Autocad 2007 Solids and Navisworks Crash detection. Apparently when we extrude our piping systems in 2007 and it is uploaded to Navisworks it is not detecting where our piping crashes with any of the other trades 3d drawings except at either ends of the piping, and at the centerlines. Why is this? I can't find a setting thats documented in any Autocad or Autodesk forums to fix this. Are solids in Autocad 2007 not actual solids but hollow 3d objects?

I suggest you contact the support for NavisWorks. Send them a sample drawing and mention what version you have of NW.
