Default Methods to transfer content into Tool Palettes

Does anyone know how to transfer the content into tool palette (i.e. layers, dim styles, text styles, etc)? I know the method of drag and drop but it will be very time consuming. Is there is better way of doing this tasks. Please let me know. Thanks for your help and hard work in advance.

    Interesting question......

I have always thought toolpalettes are used to store pre existing tools.
Drag an object to the palettte from the drawing or use design center
to pick objects and/or styles from other drawings.

If you see my other recent post about Tool Palettes, you'll know that I'm no expert...but
if you open Design Center, navigate to a drawing that contains the stuff you want, then highlight the layers, or blocks, or linetypes etc that you want, Then you can Right-Click and select Create Tool Palette. You can do the same with a whole directory, to create a palette only of blocks.
    One caveat:
The origination drawing/directory has to be one that won't get moved, renamed, or deleted, and the stuff you are referencing in the Tool Palette needs to stay in that drawing or directory, as well, in order it to keep working.

I originally tried from Design center to transfer the content to tool palettes by right clicking, however, it will not transfer (i.e. the styles, or layers, line types, etc.) and that's where I need help.

Design Center works real well for adding stuff to Tool Palettes, but I thought you could just drag things like dims and text into a palettes if you have a blank palette tab created.

If you have any "content" currently on an existing button... you CAN drag and drop into a tool palette. Right click the customize TP and with the customize window open, drag and drop from there...
    OR
(this one may be a little tricky)
you can add a command (set of commands) using the CUI to a toolbar button and also drag and drop... not sure if that is the best way to do it, BUT it could work.
