Cross hair freezes when selecting dimensions

Hi!

I've got an irritating problem here with ADT 2007, and i hope that you could help me.

The thing is when I'm selecting dimensions the cross hair freezes for a half second, and then jumps to where the pointer is. But if theres an line or pline in the selection the freeze period is about a quarter of a second.

I've even got this problem at 3 day course using theres computer, which has an QuadroFX card, and i got an Radeon X600 card.

I've updated the gfx-drivers yesterday with no luck. The other speccs is P4 HT 3,0, 2Gb Ram, Win XP SP2. and ADT 2007
Is there a setting that i could change? Iv'e tried both software and hardware rendering but no difference.

Ya know, mine freezes too. I never gave it much thought though. It would be nice to figure out a fix, though.

I think I've found the solution for this.
It seems like it is the properties palette thats messing with me.
When i close it, it works like a charm. And when i enable it again
it starts to freeze.

So now it's just to continue without the properties palette. ;(

Yep, that's the problem alright. Mine doesn't freeze at all with the properties pallet closed. I could just leave it closed, then double click the object to open it. But then I would have to close it all the time and........well I'm just too lazy to keep opening and closing.......Oh well. Maybe they will figure it out in ADT 2008.

I have discussed this problem with Autodesk and he said that he has sent it to development department. Hope that they can figure something out. It works OK with the AEC dimension. But for now i use ADT as autocad, and can't find a way to use AEC dim.
