Jogged elevation lines

Is there the ability to jog elevation lines similar to section lines?

A search tells me it had a wish list entry in 2004 and also a solution is(was?) to overlay two different elevation views. Is this considered the best option?

The application is probably typical in that some of the front fence gets in the way of the front elevation and I would prefer to show the fence in a completely separate elevation.
