Default Design Review appears to be slow to open when compared with DWF Viewer

I just installed the free Design Review software.

I have noticed that the newly installed software increases the
time it takes to open a dwf file. That said, if all the user needs to
do is open a dwf file for printing, I would not install Design Review.
DWF viewer works for printing purposes.

For any cad associate or drawing checker, the software is very beneficial.

How significant is this increase? Is it a noticeable increase or one that a user could live with?
If you have a technical question, please find the appropriate forum and ask it there.
You will get a quicker response from your fellow AUGI members than if you sent it to me via a PM or email.

I find the user has to wait for a file to load.
DWF viewer jumps straight into the file.

There is definitely a difference when using a pen tablet to annotate a DWF. The cursor cannot keep up with the pen. DWF composer works fine, however.

I've found the slowness as well but have learned to live with it. I have also had 3 occasions where the Design Review software abruptly exited and generated an error report. All 3 times, I was copying and pasting existing callouts from one sheet to another, error occurred when pasting to a newly added sheet.

Never had that experience with DWF Composer.
