    Default 3D Connexion Space Navigator

Has anyone tried one of these with Revit?

I played around with it at AU. Great for Google Earth, but doesn't work with Revit yet, if that is your real question.

Very intuitive bit of hardware, and I liked it.

AEC magazine in the UK (http://aecmag.com/) gave it a thumbs up, but their on-line editions doesn't seem to carry the article.

I know it can be done, I just don't know how to do it yet

Steve Bennett actually featured that mouse on his blog a while back.

He gave it great reviews, but he was using it for ADT and Viz.

I've talked to one of their reps at a conference, and they need users to request support from the Factory for devices like this, to make them work with Revit. If you are interested in seeing other devices work with Revit, submit a request to the Factory!

I use this everyday with AutoCAD Architecture 2009 & NavisWorks Manage 2009, it's the coolest thing ever. I used it once and was hook, especially with Navis. Navigating is a breeze and comes so naturally.

I'd recommend you picking one up... BTW, as of today there still isn't support for Revit.

I'm using AutoCAD, 3dsmax and Vue. While still waiting for Revit to be supported.
I bought one today as a Christmas gift.
