Default Sharing Tool Palettes with other users in AutoCAD 2006

    Hello,

I am having issues getting a network tool palette set up and running for an office of about 100 drafters.
There seem to be several issue that I can not seem to work around.

    1. No matter what I do to the palettes I have created when reloaded from another machine via a network folder they load in a new random order. IE. the Text I added or the Separators will all be at the top of the palette.

    2. I when I path to a certain folder in Options->Files then change that path to the same folders but in a 2nd location I seem to not get the same results. IE. there will be no images shown on the palettes.

    3. Is there a way to make the office standard palettes read only but let the individual users able to manipulate their own palettes.

    4. Is there a script that when they manage to completely mess the palettes up I can just have them hit a button that restores them to Office standards.

    thanks in advance
    Jim

    Hi

For starters have a browse of the following threads...

Tool Palettes name & tab order

Sharing Tool Palettes with other AutoCAD 2006 users, tools not in same order

Plus if you have not already done so, have a browse, search through this actual forum [ AutoCAD Customization ]. Honestly all the information you require can be found in here.

    Have a good one, Mike
