Default Is there a way to reset the tool palettes without having to restart AutoCAD?

When switching profiles, I often see the tool palletes disappear.
I should see the tool palletes associated with the profile I have selected.

Is there a way to reset the tool palletes without having to restart AutoCad?

    Hi

Could you please explain some more, as currently I do not fully understand the issue / problem you are trying to resolve. Sorry.

    Have a good one, Mike

I switch from one user profile to another and the tool palletes do not appear.
All I get is an empty tool pallete. If I close and restart AutoCad, then
    all the tool palletes appear.

I should be able to switch profiles and have everything in working order.
I may just be blowing off some steam because I do not see any other
fix than launching profiles from desktop shortcuts. Switching profiles
while in AutoCad does not seem to be working quite as I had expected.

    Hi

Ok! Look at setting up Workspaces and switching between them as needed.

You may want to create a macro to reload the tool palette if it doesn't work as Mike suggested. Also maybe make a toolbar for the different tool palettes for easy switching.

Here is one of the the macros I use to switch between my palettes
    .
    ^C^C*_toolpalettepath;"C:/Documents and Settings/YOURNAMEHERE/Application Data/Autodesk/AutoCAD 2007/R17.0/enu/support/ToolPalette";

Good suggestion. I hadn't given that much thought.
I suppose I could load the palette separate from the profile if I have
    a dysfunctional profile.

Good suggestion. I will have to try workspaces again.
I had them set up once, but rarely swithced between them.

Workspaces may be easier to handle than profiles.
