Default Set up two coordinate systems in same drawing

If this belongs in another forum please move.

I work for an owner. Normally we live in Local coordinates, but occasionally have to be able work in State Plane or give drawings to folks who do.

How do I set up a drawing in two separate coordinate systems? (when all I have is the location data on three points)

Drawing will be used to xref in my base drawings (so they always stay in local coords.)
I've got some semi-working versions going but it's all just guesses right now.

Working in basic AutoCAD (2006), not Map or any of the other useful varieties.

    Thanks

    Hi

Look at setting up two User Coordinate Systems (UCS's) and saving them.

Plus using Saved Views with associated UCS(s) should greatly help.

    Have a good one, Mike
