Wink AUTOCAD 2007 has replaced my 3dMAX (March 2007 Pic of the Month)

Hi guys,, My name is MD , I been working with AutoCAD for the past 3 to 4 years,, it was the best move that I ever done was to learn AutoCAD, but what I wonted to show you guys that ,, I been using AutoCAD 2007 for some time now and last year I had the chance to learn 3d max,, but after I used AutoCAD 2007 ,, I don’t’ think I would ever go back to 3d MAX,, coz AutoCAD 2007 has been changed so much from 2006 and before ,, and I actually have a sample of what you can do on AutoCAD 2007.. What do you guys think of it.. ???

Welcome to the forum! You've got some impressive stuff there. Is it all done in AutoCAD? I'm also curious of your system setup. That's some pretty serious rendering.

I like the interior render. It looks good.

What are some of the things you find are better in AutoCAD vs. 3D Max?

Do you have any tips on how you did the planters?
If you have a technical question, please find the appropriate forum and ask it there.

I agree, I spend much time to make similar result. I guess it have 22 light sources.

Sometimes I make a shop drawing or use another 2D features and 3D Max can't do that. But if talking about 3D features, I love 3D Max texture setting, shadows, lights ( AutoCAD can't make a box light source eg. long hidden lamp, I usually use a couple light sources but it still can't smooth), and of course solid editing ( AutoCAD only have union, substract, and slice but 3D Max can change a box to a shoe, a bag and even a fish! )
