Hi there.
So what is modo 202?
Seems like a decent renderer. What made you choose this over the other options available?
Interested to hear more about it!
Otherwise, in terms of the images, they seem pretty decent. I think they would look even better with some more detail added to them, as well as possibly changing the colour scheme to avoid the 'apple green!' (just a personal opinion )
Regards,
Max.
Modo 202 is a modeling/rendering software put out by a company named Luxology. Their website is www.modo3d.com. If you are really interested they have a 30 day trial.
I choose it over other software packages for a bunch of reasons. One is the price, msrp 850, which is a is alot less expensive then the autodesk offerings. Also the availability of free training materials, it ships with something like 5 gigs of training videos. Plus they have a strong user base on their forums which is willing to help in the learning process. The render is also pretty quick and relatively easy to use.
As to the render, it is not the best representation of what the modo render can do, I did these images a short amount of time helping a coworker learn the software.
Here is the link to the Luxology gallery to see what other users can do with the software:

Hey there,
Thanks for the link. There were some very nice images done.
Steve
Yeah!!!! Thanks for the link!!!! Hopefully Luxology will pick up where Autodesk has dropped the ball.
Here is a link to a pretty comprehensive review of Modo for Archviz done by cgarchitect.com:

Also another render from Revit to Modo:
What were your render times like for these images?
All these images were rendered in less than 20 minutes.
I am using a Quadcore machine with 4gigs of ram.
