    Default Annotation - Graphic Scales

Here's a nice basic DB (one of my first).
It's a block with many graphic scales (visibility states).
    You pick from 1/16" = 1'-0" to 3" = 1'-0", used for architectural & structural dwgs.

Reason for it: basically it's just easier to have this one block instead of 9 different ones.

    Have Fun!

    ****Update**** 7-19-07
I've added allot more scales as well as CIVIL scales too.

Very nice! Thank you for sharing. I was going to create one for the office but I got lazy.

Just bringing this forward to a "new post" so y'all know
I've added an "AIA-Scales2" DB which has more scales and a bunch of civil graphic scales too.

next time you can just add it to the end of the thread, and it'll do the same thing.

unless you like all your files in the top post, then nm.
Sometimes, i get lost in my own thoughts and need to ask directions to find my way back.

    Thanks Chris,
I wasn't sure how I was supposed to do this.
I figured if someone were looking for these blocks, they'd be in one place .

Very nice DB. I added text below each scale (visibility state) stating which scale it is.
    (i.e Scale: 1/8" = 1'-0")

Yea, that would be useful too, maybe you could post that version?
Maybe put the text on a layer you can freeze?

These were created to go under the AIA style title tags (NCS 3.1) which would have the scale written beside them.

Some day when I get ambitious, I'll combine my "AIA title" DB's with these scales, so they're all in one....holy cr@p!

    Thanks

This might be a stupid question but how do you use this bar scale? I inserted the block but it just shows as 3/32" = 1'-0". I can't figure out how to change it.

Also, how do you get it to change automatically based on the viewport scale?

    Thanks!
