It has been a while since this one raised its head so I am wondering if I can get input on any developments since the last extensive treatment given to subject.
My situation: I have been lent an Intuos 2 for a few weeks and are keen to see how it goes. I guess it is the best try before you buy scheme you can get. I primarily use Revit and AutoCAD with some use of Photoshop, Office (Word etc), and hope to start with Corel Painter in the future.
I have included the photos for any advice on set up and pen grip.
The setup has naturally happened this way after using it for a day - it seems to work but someone else may have something much better.
Pen grip is my understanding of Jeffery McGrew's repeated input on the topic - my forearm would normally rest on the tablet but had to lift for my 'self photo'. I must say I struggle a little with the up/down buttons on the pen at the moment.
It seems, if people had there time over again, then Intuos 3 would be the choice along with strokeit for shortcuts. Do I have that correct?
Tablet size should be small but my occasional Photoshop and painter use probably dictates something a little larger.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Rob
