Unhappy ADT2006 - Detail component manager

    Hi

I'm new to the forum and not so experienced with ADT I've recently come across this dialog box when i try to open the detail component manager

    " Cannot open database C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Autodesk\ADT 2006\enu\Details\Details (DAN)\AecDtlComponents (DAN).mdb"

When i go into options and AEC contents to add the catalog i still get the same message above.

Does anyone have an idea of how to solve this.

Looks like a problem with pathing. Make sure that the database exists (1) and if not re-path to the correct location (2). I think this is probably the default C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Autodesk\ADT 2006\enu\Details\Details (US)

Are you international? My otb install comes with US & UK databases. Is DAN referring to your location or is that a custom folder you created?

    Hi

Thanks for your reply, I'm international Denmark, I have actually tried with all the other databases UK and US but no luck copied a different database from a colleagues computer that is working still no luck. I found an suggestion for the problem, http://discussion.autodesk.com/threa...sageID=5155882
or to format & reinstall everything.

Apparently I got this problem after the office upgraded to XP. My laptop is scheduled for maintenance Friday, hope it works.

Before you run a registry repair or a reinstall, be sure to export your cui file so you don't have to re-customize anything you've done.
