Question Insert image into different coordinate system

I have ECW images in Nad 83 UTM 14 (meters) coordinate system.
How can I insert the images into a State plane (feet) coordinate system.

I am using AutoCAD Map 3D.

    Please help....

You need to insert the image into a blank dwg and assign that dwg the NAD83 UTM 14 (meters) coordinate system save that dwg, then attach and query it into your state plane coordinate. You can not change/edit the image coordinate system in MAP 3D.

I don't know what you mean.
Attach, as in xref or insert
I have tried xref but don't how to query.
    Please explain.

    Thanks!!

I think the easiest way is to drag and drop the source DWG ( NAD83 UTM 14 (meters) ) into the Map Explorer part of your ACAD Task Pane of your Assigned State Plane DWG. Then in the same Task Pane window, right click on the Current Query to Define the import, I just use all to get everything.

Good luck and the help menu is good also.

Question Re: Insert image into different coordinate system

I keep getting a error, "Can't transform object."
"Can't transform point to Lat Long."
Which I don't understand cause I am not using Lat Long as a coor. system.

well thanks for trying to help...
