    Actually, I've also noticed that you can't use any of these symbols <>\/":;?*|,'= in a sheet set title. That could be a problem for layout tabs as well.

    it's a good thing you cant use *, otherwise a wcmatch wouldnt work.

    At least with &, you can use &&. Although if you hide the layout tabs, the dropdown indicator ignores those too. I think they messed up somewhere, but it's all pretty minor. However, back to the original thread, I think the scalelist editor not being a registry setting is a backward step.

    Possibly but I don't think they would have done it unless they had to to make the scaled annotation thing work, which I suppose is the big thing with this release.

    maybe you could write a lisp routine that sets up the scales in every drawing you open? that way it takes care of the new drawing (in a template) and all existing drawings.

    Yeah. That I can see. However, if that's the case why will it retain the settings for the scale list if you set them in the template file??

    Wrt the lisp idea. That's great, but when I'm working at AT&"&&&&&&&"T, I'm using AutoCAD LT. Life's a *****..!!!
