    Unhappy "Breaking" Survey Figure lines

Is it possible to "Break" or delete a section of your figure line that was imported through a field book? There dosen't seem like there is an easy way to edit these figures once they are inserted into the drawing. Will I have to go back and edit the field book file? Will I have to erase the error line and replace it with a figure line that I have to re-create? There has to be a easier way right? Any help with this would be greatly appreciated?

    Thank you very much,

    Will

As far as I know, there is no way to edit a figure in a drawing. The only thing I've heard of is to edit the field book file and then re-import it.

Yah I was messing with that earlier and it did work. But it seems awfully cumbersome to do it that way. I figured there was an easier way of modifying these figure lines. Thanks Brian for your advice I guess that is the way we will have to do it until this issue is addressed.

    Thanks again,

    Will

    Will,

You can check out some third party apps that I've heard good things about (haven't actually used them though) such as www.rsteltman.com and www.cadaps.com.
