Default XClip appears to slow down drawing file

    Does anyone have a fix?

After x-clipping a large portion of my existing topo out, the drawing file I was in now takes 15 minutes switching between model space/paper space and/ or closing the file when it use to only take 1 minute.

What was the old file size, and what is the new file size?

I didn't get a chance to check the file size before I left for home. In the past (at another company) I have always been able to xclip out larger portions of the topo to help reduce the file size and the redraw/refresh rates.

The PC I am using seems fine for the task DELL XPS 3.4ghz duo core, 2gb ram, Nvidia graphics card 300 gb hd. This is a slight step up from my old machine at where I used to work.

    Hi

See if the following information offers any help...
