    Default images

    i have an arial i imported and have on a site plan. when i print it out the arial is totally blurry and illegible. in the print preview, it shows up fine. how can i print a high quality image?

    What kind of image is it? What is the size of the original image and what size are you attempting to plot it at?

    it's a .bmp picture at that's only 100kb. it looks perfectly fine on the screen and i'm printing it out on an 11x17 sheet.

    Are you printing with Raster Processing checked? In that case, you'd set your Raster Quality to Presentation or just switch to Vector Processing. If it is just the image looking fuzzy and nothing else, are you plotting it directly, or to a file first and then sending it? Maybe there is a printer driver issue. Plot it as a PDF first, open the PDF and see if it looks good, then send the PDF to the printer.

    i was not able to figure out why i the image can't print correctly. the solution was to print to a .pdf and print from acrobat reader. thanks
