Roof style - open rafter tails

I would like to be able to select a roof style to be open rafter tails, with the ability to fix rafters on the far edges of the roof and specify the distance between the rafters. Having this all in 3D would greatly improve productivity for doing elevations and renderings for all architects, draftsmen and designers who specialize in custom residential plans.

Hi Jon,
First off, welcome to AUGI and Congrats on the first post. This would be useful if it were came in as part of the roof object. Currently you can still do this, you just need to model as it would be built. ie you need to model the rafter tails. I'd suggest a structural member style or a Mass Element. Or, you could also use a mass element as a mullion in a curtian wall style. Just a thought.
