Default Importing Blocks / Symbols into Word in WMF format?

i am updating our standards with annotation symbols as a graphic reference. I know i can export objects to a WMF format, which is great because they work well with M$ software, but i have come across a snag with it - how do i export large numbers of blocks and keep them all at the same scale and alignment without creating one giant WMF file?

is there a more efficient way of doing this? i am open creating something in another app and importing/merging into word - but i dont know where to begin looking.

Get BetterWMF from Furix. It gives control over output scale, gets rid of the massive white space borders and honours stb/ctb settings.
