    Default viewports in model space

Okay, this actual happened to me in ADT 2007 also, but it's worse in ACA 2008.

Okay, I am in model space with 3 viewports. Left monitor has 2 horizontally with the top one top view, and the bottom one whatever side I'm working on. The other monitor has a perspective.

Here's the example. I'm drawing in the top viewport. I go to draw something in the bottom one, and the UCS is no longer parallel. Imagine I have ortho on and want to draw a line, it will only go side to side, not up and down. I have to "pick" that view again so it regens, then I can draw in that viewport, but guess what, now I can't draw in the other one because of the same problem.

Anyone have that happen and what is the deal with it?

Well, since I've never heard of it, it could be! Is that something either set to 0 or 1?

REGENAUTO is an on/off command. On allows regens to take place when ACA feels it's necassary and off you determine when to regen.

My guess is UCSVP from ABS2007.1 help.

Unlocked; UCS reflects the UCS of the current viewport

Locked; UCS stored in viewport, and is independent of the UCS of the current viewport

Some see the glass as half full, others as half empty. As an engineer I see the glass as twice as big as it needs to be. ~Unknown~

Well, mine is set to 1, and my regenauto is on. I went ahead and copied what I was working on into a clean ACA 2008 template, and it seems to be working okay. Thanks for the info guys.
