Question When flipping a Dynamic Block, grips do not flip with the block

Allright, I made a dynamic block with alignment, flip and stretch grips. When I flip it though, the grips do not "flip" with the block, so when I stretch it, the base point is still at the original point. There must be a way to get the grips to "flip" with the block, right? I'm using r2007, btw.
    Thanks

I think it has something to do with making sure that when you set up your flip, the stretch grips are selected

Bingo. Took me a while to learn that too. My solution was to select not only the grip, but the parameter itself. The thought behind it is when you hover the grip for flip, AutoCAD will highlight the parameters affected by the action.

    Hi "boffin"

Please note I have *moved* this thread from the AutoCAD General forum to this one, as I feel this particular forum is a more appropriate place for such a topic.

    Thanks, Mike

You should always include the parameter and grips (just incase) in the selection set for flips etc. the only action that should be included is a scale action that has an independant base point.

As Chris and Cory have stated before me, it's 100% necessary to include the grips AND parameter into a flip action.
