    Default Help with corrupt file

    hi guys

    below is a file that a friend was working on in ADT 2005 but the file has been corrupt

    i've tried everything to recover the files but nothing works

    is there anyone that can help with recovering the file PLMK

    I have tried several different tricks with no luck.

    Can you restore an older version or change the .bak file to a .dwg?

    It's not even a dwg...Open it in Notepad.

    Yep, looks like something is missing. So based on what you saw in notepad can you enlighten us as to what may have happened?

    That looks like a long error report, maybe something to do with a disk failure (NTLDR file corrupt or missing). Take a look here for a possible solution to the Operating System failure that you have probably had or soon will have: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/318728.
