We've converted to ACAD 2007 recently. I was looking to change my pgp file for my quick key reference but I can't seem to find the *ROTATE3D command. Have any clues? The help menu refers me back to 3DROTATE. . .?

    Thanks in advance

Hi. Is this now an A2007 question?

3drotate is a known command in A2007 and the pgp file contains "3R" as an alias.

    From Help -

    "Command entry: rotate3d

It is recommended that you use the grip tools available through the 3DMOVE and 3DROTATE commands to manipulate 3D objects. For more information about using grip tools, see Use Grip Tools to Modify Objects.

Select objects: Use an object selection method and press ENTER when you finish

Specify first point on axis or define axis by [Object/Last/View/Xaxis/Yaxis/Zaxis/2points]: Specify a point, enter an option, or press ENTER"

Yes, but there is a difference between 3drotate and rotate3d. A2004, which is the last version i was using, separated these two. Any other suggestions?

    Err. No. It didn't.

Rotate3d has been in acad since (probably) R10.
    3drotate was introduced in A2007.
In A2007 both commands produce identical prompts.

But we can't say they have same functions.
Because 3drotate rotates the object about the three axes as orbit.

tools->customize->edit program parameters. Add it to the user defined section and dont forget reinit when finished to reinitilized the pgp file
