Default Filled Regions in 2008 - no "no pattern" option anymore?

I've noticted that there is no option to have "no pattern" in filled regions anymore in 2008. So now our white filled regions are coming out as black on export to ACAD - are there any work arounds?

The new masked region should do the trick.

    Exactly!
The masked region was set up for just this purpose. It will carry through to Autocad without creating black splotches all over your CAD files when printing!
    Best regards,
