    Unhappy DWF Publishing

    Hi Guys,

Just got a sticky problem. I try to publish my drawings to DWF (2D) and noticed half information is missing.

To start with on all my sections walls and partitions are missing showing services hanging in the air and all notes pointing to nothing. The fill patterns show in some of the sections but no walls or partitions outlines.

We have some company logo bitmaps embedded in the drawing borders but after publishing to DWF they look corrupted.

I tried to figure out what's wrong but I haven't got a clue. In my humble opinion DWF sucks and I'm not surprised most people use PDF. I haven't tried PDF publishing yet because I read there's lots of problems with that as well. Is Autodesk actually allowing people to publish to media formats, makes you wonder.

If you have any thoughts on those issues please share - and maybe even some work arounds if there are any.

By the way, I've set the line weight but after publishing line thickness is doubled at the least. Any thoughts on that as well ?

Thanks in advance for your thoughts

Are those same things missing when you print to printer? We have a problem right now w/ RAC 2008 that drops out surface patterns during printing on some of the objects, but not all. Can print to anything - pdf, printer, dwf - same problem.

    Yes, same here.

It seems that Revit randomly drops detail while printing.

Wondering if anybody else came across the same problem

Known issue. Supposedly to be fixed in a future RELEASE! Try raster printing as a workaround.
