LISP Routine to get Object Data

Hi all.
I did a search for a LISP routined to grab the OD from my drawing and didn't find anything to fit the bill.
I have a LISP routine that I modified to try to work but I keep getting this error"; error: bad argument type: stringp nil"

All i want to do is click on a parcel and get the owner to come up in my default text.

Can anyone give me a pointer on this one?
