Default How do I omit doors from being included in my schedule?

I'm working on a project that is an interior renovation. My door schedule references an external drawing, that being my "base" file. Since there are doors in the building that are outside the scope of work, I don't want them included in the door schedule. I have no idea how to keep these door objects from appearing in my schedule. I initially thought the solution would be to replace the doors with cased openings and draw the rest of the door graphic w/ 2D linework, but alas ADT considers a cased opening to be a door object as well and then schedules it. I'm at my wits end with this one. Can anyone help me?

You will have to either place them on different layers and use layer filters for the schedule table (an option on properties palette whent the table is selected) or use clasifications to filter doors.
